1 st - DaysLocation:
210 MARIE LANGDON DRIVE, MANCHESTER, 40962, KYThe role you'll contribute:
Collects and directs the collection of specimens with rigid attention to proper patient identification per laboratory policy Performs routine laboratory test procedures as outlined in the laboratory standard operating procedure manual.
Orders, evaluated, records, and prints test results using lab computer.
Works closely with all laboratory personnel to ensure timely client service and accurate test results.
Maintains and operates lab equipment; able to detect malfunctions and troubleshoot per technical service recommendations.
Adheres to quality assurance and quality control procedures in performing all testing.
QualificationsQualifications - ExternalMinimum qualifications Current ASCP Certification or any other nationally recognized certification agency CPR certification Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technicians related science from an accredited program Must have basic computer skills to operate LIS and HIS systems Must have proper communication skills to convey information effectively Must have problem solving/decision making skills to identify issues and evaluate options and implement solutions.
